My baby is ONE!!!

Noah's 1st Birthday Party (rained the whole time!)
A little late on this blog but oh well. Noah turned 1 on the 5th of September! I still can't believe a year as gone by already. Its weird to say "my 1 year old this" or "my 1 year old that." I have had 2 occasions in the store, where people ask his age and go, "he what 2?" and I'm like "nope, he just turned 1." Apparently he is a little tall for his age. I couldn't be more in love with him! He is just amazing! So smart, chatty although none of it makes much sense right now. He got a block set for his birthday and can build a tower like a champ! He knows how to open and close his water bottle. He loves books which I am so thankful for!! I wasn't a big fan of books while in grade school. So I'm glad he got that trait from his daddy. :) We are past our year long goal of breast feeding. Yippee!! We will stop when he is ready. He isn't nursing as much during the day but still nursing multiple times during the night. We are co-sleeping again. Tried to keep him in his crib but he is so restless and wakes up every hour or less if he is in his crib. I'm not talking about a little restless like stirs every once and while. He probably tosses and turns like 5 times throughout the night and the only way to get him to calm down is to nurse him. Kris and I are getting good at co-sleeping now and right now that is what works for us. We all get sleep which is something we need! He is down to one nap a day in the afternoon. I usually try and take a little snooze myself with him. He is eating pretty much everything that we are eating. His iron is low but not enough to be anemic so our pediatrician has us giving iron drops daily. We are not eating a lot of meat but eat lots of fruits and veggies so Kris and I are both shocked that his iron is low. :/ It is what it is I guess. Other than that, Noah is a very healthy little boy. He got dedicated on the 8th of September at our Pioneer Christian Fellowship. We were thrilled and it was awesome to have all our family there supporting us. Here are some pics from his birthday and dedication.
1st cupcake on his birthday. I had to feed him tiny bites and take the frosting off. Even then he barely ate it. lol
Trying his birthday cake which he did not like so he wiped icing all over Mommy. :)
