9 Months!! Where did the time go…I can’t believe my baby
boy is going to be a year old in 3 months! Only 3 more months till our breast feeding goal! We can do it! :) He is in the 75th percentile
for height at 29in. and in the 25th-30th percentile for
weight at 19.6lbs. Doctor says he is doing great and is hitting all the
milestones he needs; some ahead of the game. He is a genius baby. :)
Noah is really getting quite the personality. He loves to
laugh at himself and he is hilarious when you bring a camera out. Puts a smile
on his face right away as if to say “I’m ready for my close-up Mom!” We are
trying lots of different foods with him. He ate kale the other night (with
bacon) and loved it! He hasn’t had any allergic reactions to any foods so that’s
awesome.
He now has five teeth!! 5 can you believe it?! Two on the
bottom and three just popped through on the top. This has made him a bit irritable
and chew on everything! He can drink water out of a straw sippy cup. He gets
very excited about it and usually after a few sips he spits the water out down
the front of him and laughs. He is a character for sure.
Just within the past couple days he has figured out how
to say “da-da.” Just in time for Father’s Day! Kris and I just sit and laugh
when he talks cause he really does just melt your heart. I don’t know how we
got so lucky! He is walking around all the furniture. He is pretty fast at it
too! We are now working on helping him stand by himself and walking. Just
yesterday he started letting go of the coffee table to stand by himself. He has
great balance! It’s funny cause he doesn’t even know that he is standing there
without any help. When he does it Kris and I clap and cheer him on and he just
looks at us like “what did I do guys?” It’s great!! I really think he will be
walking in the next month.
Kris taught Noah how to climb the stairs. Noah likes
going down them better. :) He
has also taught Noah how to clap, give high 5’s and do slap me some skin. Noah likes
that one the best! It’s wonderful seeing Kris and I interact! Kris is such a
great father!! Love Noah more than anything in the world.
I’m trying to think if there is anything that I missed. Oh
he loves sitting and looking at books. Like seriously he will sit and flip
through a book for 15+ minutes. It’s fantastic! He is such a smart little boy.
Noah is getting more independent too. I started babysitting one of good friend’s
little girl Quinn, Wednesday-Friday and at first Noah was really jealous!! Now
though he plays with her. He really likes taking her toys away and tackling
her. I guess we need to work on sharing this month. But
is getting better at having another kid around. I think it has done him a lot
of good. Speaking of tackling, he just started doing this head-butt cuddle
thing. It’s hilarious. He loves to just come over to Kris and I and shove his
head into our stomach or chest and nuzzle right up in us. When I’m lying on the
floor with him, he will come over and get right on top of me and give me hugs.
It is the best feeling in the world! He loves his pool and his swing!

So in the last month or so, Noah has really grown up. I love
him so much! I love being his mom! I love that I get to wake up every morning
to his smiling face. He just brings him such joy!
